A Juan López lo mataron por encargo. Este jueves se celebrará una audiencia preliminar contra los tres presuntos autores materiales del crimen contra nuestro compañero y coordinador, Juan López, ocurrido hace 11 meses.

Pero el próximo 14 de agosto no es solo una audiencia contra los autores materiales; es una oportunidad para exigir acción real: la captura inmediata de los autores intelectuales que siguen libres a pesar de las pruebas.

No más excusas, no más impunidad. ¿Quién pagó por su muerte? Queremos justicia

completa, porque este fue un crimen por encargo.

Campaña Global: Justicia para Juan López

Han pasado 11 meses desde el vil asesinato de nuestro compañero Juan López, coordinador del Comité Municipal de Defensa de los Bienes Comunes y Públicos de Tocoa (para conocer más sobre la vida y el legado de Juan López, y para compartir tus recuerdos, visita: www.guapinolresiste.org/juanlopez).

El Ministerio Público tiene en sus manos todas las pruebas necesarias para detener y

procesar a los autores intelectuales, pero ha elegido la inacción. Mientras tanto, tres

autores materiales enfrentan una audiencia preliminar el 14 de agosto de 2025 en el Palacio de Justicia de San Pedro Sula, sin que se avance en la búsqueda de quienes realmente ordenaron su muerte.

Exigimos que esta audiencia sea transmitida en tiempo real por las redes oficiales del Poder Judicial de Honduras, para garantizar la transparencia y el derecho a la verdad. La justicia plena solo llegará cuando se actúe contra todos los responsables, especialmente los intelectuales que financian y planifican estos crímenes.

¿Cómo sumarte a la campaña?

Para exigir la captura inmediata de los autores intelectuales, el fin de la impunidad y justicia verdadera para Juan López y para el Parque Nacional Carlos Escaleras, te invitamos a participar activamente:

1. Asiste a la audiencia

Estemos presentes el 14 de agosto en el Palacio de Justicia de San Pedro Sula para

visibilizar la exigencia de justicia integral.

Si no puedes asistir, sigue la transmisión oficial y comparte mensajes firmes exigiendo que se detenga a los autores intelectuales y se termine la impunidad.

2. Graba un video corto

Juan López was murdered on orders. This Thursday, a preliminary hearing will be held against the three alleged perpetrators of the murder of our comrade and coordinator 11 months ago.

However, August 14 will not only be a hearing against the perpetrators, but also

an opportunity to demand real action: the immediate arrest of the masterminds who remain free despite the evidence.

No more excuses, no more impunity. Who paid for his death? We want complete justice,

because this was a contract killing.

Global Campaign: Justice for Juan López

Eleven months have passed since the vile murder of our colleague Juan López, coordinator of the Municipal Committee for the Defense of Common and Public Goods in Tocoa (to learn more about Juan López's life and legacy, and to share your memories, visit www.guapinolresiste.org/juanlopez ).

The Public Prosecutor's Office has all the evidence necessary to arrest and prosecute

the masterminds, but has chosen inaction. Meanwhile, three perpetrators are facing a

preliminary hearing on August 14, 2025, at the Palace of Justice in San Pedro Sula, with no

progress in the search for those who actually ordered Juan's murder.

We demand that this hearing be broadcast in real time on the official networks of the Honduran judiciary to ensure transparency and the right to truth. Full justice will only be achieved when action is taken against all those responsible, especially the intellectual authors or masterminds who finance and plan these crimes.

How can you join the campaign?

To demand the immediate arrest of the masterminds, an end to impunity, and true justice for Juan López and Carlos Escaleras National Park, we invite you to participate actively:

1. Attend the hearing

Be present on August 14 at the Palace of Justice in San Pedro Sula to highlight the

demand for comprehensive justice.

If you cannot attend, follow the official broadcast and share strong messages demanding that the masterminds behind these crimes be arrested and that impunity end.

2. Record a short video

Use this script to add your voice to the national and international outcry:

months have passed since his murder, and the masterminds remain unpunished. We

will not accept impunity or delays. Justice for Juan and for all those who defend the
